I had a great two days at the Hostal Rural Haizea writing my report. I’d join the locals in the bar for breakfast and watch the running of the bulls on TV. I was pleased I wasn’t biking as it was raining and I felt sorry for the people crossing the Napolean Route from France as it would have been cold and foggy. I heard later it was pouring so it can’t have been pleasant. I was happy to be working and in a warm place - and my new fave breakfast drink was café con baileys. The locals were having this so thought it was good to join them – and it was only 30 cents more than a café con leche. I worked both days and joined other pilgrims for dinner.
